It is often difficult to determine what is the best course of action when we have a big ambition that seems so far from our reach, right? It may sound like a cliché, but it is true that splitting it up into smaller, more feasible steps is usually the way to a great victory.
Also… What about learning what is blocking us from seeing the big picture? Once we put a name to our obstacles, they usually become easier to leave behind.
Inspired by the great Julius Caesar, because, let’s not forget that besides a Tarot reader, a lady here is also a frustrated historian, let me introduce “Vini, Vidi, Vici: A Tarot Spread To Conquer Your Purpose.”
So, now that we’ve presented the layout, how does it work and what’s the best way to make the most out of this spread?
As is happens with all things Tarot, asking the right question is key! This is a series of steps that will help you get the clearest possible answer.
Step 1: Think thoroughly about your situation. Make it one goal at a time. Make it something specific, forget about “I want to be happy”, think, what is that you want now?
Step 2: Formulate your question in the most specific and detailed way possible.
Imagine, for instance, that after consideration you have decided that you want to inquire about writing a book. “How can I write a book?” is a very open-ended question that will probably not give you the best results. However, “What steps should I take to write a book this year?” would give you a more specific set of answers.
What do I mean by the 7th position, called “The Next Border”? This is the position that will tell you what to do once you have completed the task at hand, what your next step should be once you’ve achieved the first step that will lead you to your final goal!
You can use this spread each time you complete one of those steps, or whenever you need some fresh insight and you feel that you have lost direction!
